FAQ

The map is located on the drop down under the 2017 Homes on Tour menu or Click here for Map.

The proceeds of the Historic Home Holiday Tour go to benefit the continued support of the Annie Beck House, Fort Lauderdale Fire & Safety Museum and the Broward Trust for Historic Preservation, who’s mission is to preserve, restore and enhance the historic character of Broward County, Florida while supporting historic preservation education and research. To advocate historic designation of significant buildings and districts throughout the County and to increase the involvement of residents and visitors in preserving the County’s historic legacy.

Since the Tour is self-guided with a hostess/host at each property, you are able to check in and start the tour at any of the 8 properties.

The tour starts at 1PM, so check in will start at 1 PM at the starting tour house of your choice. People with trolley tickets can meet at their designated pick-up area 15 mins before start.

That would be a personal preference. Check map for locations. We might suggest you start with the house farthest north or farthest south.

Please be advised: The City of Fort Lauderdale has informed us that the historic swing bridge between Sail Boat Bend and Riverside Park is closed indefinitely for the month of December.
